Peters Township (Washington County), Pennsylvania is an affluent suburb with a nationally recognized school district located 10 miles South of Pittsburgh. It has excellent police, ems, public works, and the fire department is comprised of both career and volunteer firefighters covering 19.7 square miles and protecting a population of over 21,000. The community provides plenty of green space with Peterswood Park and Peters Lake Park providing shelters, playgrounds, fields, a fishing pier, boat launches, and walking trails. Lots of shops, restaurants, and local businesses on the main highway, route 19.  The community is also proud to provide it's residents with the Peters Twp. Public Library.
